The English as a Second Language Program serves approximately 3,000 adults annually. We offer seven levels of ESL: Beginning Literacy, Beginning Low, Beginning High, Intermediate Low, Intermediate High, Advanced ESL I, and Advanced ESL II. In addition, we offer other classes of interest, as well as an English at Home class designed for students who cannot attend regularly scheduled classes.
To better accommodate the needs of our community, we offer these classes at five different locations: the Adult Education Center, Columbia Neighborhood Center, Cupertino High School, Fremont High School, and Lynbrook High School. Classes are offered in the morning, afternoon, and evening. All levels may not be offered at every site.
