Career Technical Program Celebrates 100% Red Cross Certified Nursing Assistant Exam Pass Rate!

Sunnyvale Cupertino Adult Education Career Technical program announced today that the
Certified Nursing Assistant students achieved a 100 percent passage rate on the exam given in July 2008.

Sunnyvale Cupertino Adult and Community Education Certified Nursing Assistant program has been in existence since 2004 and the program graduates have an excellent reputation in the health care community.

Our next Certified Home Health Aid class is starts March 17, 2008.

When you register, please bring a copy of your current CNA certification, current TB and driver's license.

 The class is comprised of two sections four theory days and three clinical days.

Theory Dates:  March 17 through March 20

Time: 9:00am to 2:30pm

 Clinical Dates schedule: Starting March 24, 2008

Time:  8am to 5pm

 Register early space is limited to 13 students.

Steps to enrolling in our next Certified Nursing Assistant program.

You need to pick up an enrollment package and be interviewed before you can be considered for enrollment.  We are located at 591 West Fremont Ave, Room 3. During the interview, we will review the state requirements regarding  physical, immunizations and live scan (finger prints).  We will review the classs schedule, text book, uniform requirements. 

Course Requirement:  If English is not your first language, you will be tested to ensure your English language skills are at an Advanced level.

We only take 15 students per class.  Apply now for the class date.    

Applicants must have completed their physical, immunizations and live scan (finger prints) before the start of class. 

This 4 hours course provides individuals the knowledge and skills to provide immediate, temporary care to injured or sick animals until a professional veterinarian can provide medical care. Topics include breathing emergencies, including choking; cardiac arrest and CPR; life threatening bleeding; sudden illness, including poisoning, seizures, and heat emergencies; and various injuries, including how to approach and move an injured animal. Pet First Aid book is included.
